PPCA volunteers clean the wood duck houses that they have placed throughout the local area. Data is collected about each individual house and recorded in detail. We learn whether wood ducks or merganser ducks utilized the house in the previous season, how many eggs they laid and how many hatched. From there we restock cedar chips, repair the houses and get them ready for the next season.
